Effective student management is key to successful teaching on Aatinee. Here’s how to manage your students and groups.
Student Groups
Creating Groups
Private Groups (One-on-One)
- Go to Teacher Dashboard
- Click “Create New Group”
- Select “Private” type
- Choose subject and level
- Set pricing (monthly/annually)
- Set capacity to 1
- Save group
Group Classes
- Create new group
- Select “Group” type
- Set maximum capacity (e.g., 5-10 students)
- Define schedule (day, time)
- Set pricing per student
- Activate group
Group Settings
- Name: Descriptive group name
- Subject: What you’ll teach
- Level: School level
- Capacity: Maximum students
- Pricing: Monthly and/or annual rates
- Schedule: Fixed times for group classes
- Active/Inactive: Control visibility
Managing Subscriptions
Subscription Requests (Private Lessons)
When a student requests private lessons:
- Receive notification
- Review student profile
- Accept or Reject request
- If accepted, student completes payment
- Subscription becomes active
Direct Subscriptions (Group Classes)
For group classes:
- Students subscribe directly
- No approval needed
- First-come, first-served
- Automatic enrollment when paid
Subscription Status
- Pending: Awaiting your approval (private)
- Pending Payment: Approved but not paid
- Active: Currently enrolled
- Inactive: Subscription ended
Communication
Messaging Students
- Built-in messaging system
- Send messages to individual students
- Group conversations for classes
- Receive notifications for new messages
Announcements
- Send announcements to all students in a group
- Share important updates
- Remind about schedule changes
- Share learning materials
Attendance Management
Tracking Attendance
- Automatic attendance tracking
- View attendance records
- Identify patterns
- Follow up with absent students
Marking Absences
- System automatically marks attendance
- Can manually adjust if needed
- Add notes about absences
- Communicate with parents
Grading and Feedback
Assigning Grades
- Go to student’s profile
- Click “Grades” tab
- Add new grade
- Select subject and assignment
- Enter grade and comments
- Save
Providing Feedback
- Regular feedback encourages students

- Track individual progress
- View attendance and grades

Group Capacity Management
Monitoring Capacity
- View current enrollment
- See available spots
- Manage waiting lists (if applicable)
When Group is Full
- No new subscriptions accepted
- Can increase capacity if desired
- Or create additional group
Handling Difficult Situations
